Malaga Challenge Cup 2023.

Congratulations to the 2023 Winners - La Posada Bowls Club
The Final proved a runaway win for the La Posada side who eventually won 4 of the 6 games.
It could have been a higher margin, Lauro's Graham Jarrett fought back from 21-5 down to lose 22-18, unfortunately 2 other rinks lost 21-14 and 25-15 with big scoring ends by a rampant La Posada side taking the Match away from Lauro
Across the board la Posada players simply adjusted to the pace and line of the neutral green and fully deserved their victory.
The Malaga Challenge Cup is a Knockout competition with entry available to all of the Clubs. Once again this year Santa Maria have opted not to enter a team.
The Competition will be played over two months. Round One: Wednesday 25th October, Semi-Final: Wednesday 15th November, Final (At a neutral venue): Saturday 25th November.
